Mini Bio:
Dalhausser enjoyed a break-out year in 2006, winning eight AVP tournaments with Todd Rogers along with an FIVB Grand Slam event in Austria. In 2007 the duo collected 11 victories, including the FIVB World Championships, becoming the first American team to win that coveted title. His $220,000 in earnings from the AVP in 2007 was the most for any individual since 1997.
He was named the Most Improved Player by both the AVP and FIVB in 2006, and in a testament to his all-around game, has been selected as the AVP’s Best Offensive Player for the past three straight seasons, the FIVB’s Best Blocker for the past two years as well as the Best Hitter in 2007, and was chosen as the AVP MVP in 2007.

Americans Phil Dalhausser/Todd Rogers and Brazilians Juliana Felisberta Silva/Larissa Franca win gold medals at the first-ever AVP Crocs Tour World Challenge: USA vs. Brazil. The United States won the overall Country Challenge 26-22.
Top seeds Nicole Branagh / Elaine Youngs and Phil Dalhausser / Todd Rogers were upset by second seeds Jen Kessy / April Ross and John Hyden / Sean Scott at the AVP Crocs Tour Tournament of Champions in Mason, Ohio.
Kessy / Ross defeated Branagh / Youngs 22-20, 21-18. The two teams have met in the finals 9 times in the 2009 season. Kessy / Ross lead the series 5-4.
Hyden / Scott defeated Dalhausser / Rogers 21-16, 22-20. Out of 7 meetings in 2009 season finals, Hyden / Scott move ahead in the series 4-3.
Shaq Vs. Misty & Kerri Episode 2
Shaquille O’Neal will challenge women’s beach volleyball gold medal Olympians Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh to a 2-on-2 match at the Hermosa Beach volleyball courts in Hermosa Beach, CA.
Here’s a video of Shaquille O’Neal training with Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser in preparation for his beach volleyball match against Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh. The challenge is for the new TV series Shaq VS. where Shaq goes up against other athletes in their own sports.
The episode with Misty and Kerri will air tonight on ABC at 9:00 PM EST.
The AVP and the United States have invited Brazil to Westgate City Center in Glendale, Arizona for the AVP World Challenge – USA vs. Brazil. If Brazil accepts, it will put the top AVP Crocs Tour players against the top Brazilian players.
The US teams will likely include Kerri Walsh, Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers
